Alay adalah singkatan dari Anak layangan, Alah lebay, Anak Layu, atau Anak keLayapan yang menghubungkannya dengan anak JARPUL (Jarang Pulang). Tapi yang paling santer adalah anak layangan. Dominannya, istilah ini untuk menggambarkan anak yg sok keren, secara fashion, karya (musik) maupun kelakuan secara umum. The Script adalah sebuah band beraliran pop rock yang dibentuk pada tahun 2001 di Dublin, Irlandia. Band ini terdiri dari Danny O'Donoghue (vokal), Mark Sheehan (gitar) dan Glen Power (drum).
